QA Tester - FX FinTech Trading (Java/Selenium)

Salary - £80K + 25% minimum Bonus + BenefitsA London based FinTech start-up require a QA Tester to help disrupt FX Liquidity, they tap into global markets through their flagship core Java trading platform.As the successful QA Tester, you will contribute to ensure the Agile teams can efficiently produce automated tests, contributing strong Java code to support the development of automated frameworks and tests. This QA Tester position requires you to play a key role in team planning as well as contributing to the decisions around the architecture and design of test frameworks using Selenium. You will also have the responsibility of conducting code and test reviews to help improve and maintain the quality of work across the team. Skills needed of the QA Tester:Strong computer science fundamentals with coding skills in Java algorithms.Strong API and backend testing skills.Experience with multithreading, latency, FX or Finance.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.Top 10 University background.On a day to day basis, the QA Tester will be involved in the product design process from its early stages, create both test plans and cases, develop automated tests and work with the developers to understand the architecture.The primary language used by the Engineering team is Java, although they take a holistic approach to development, so you'll get exposure to other languages such as Python, C++ and Kotlin.
