A high-tech start-up in Belgium is looking for an Senior RF MMIC Design Engineer to support them in the design of integrated RF transceivers in state-of-the-art technologies.  In your position as Senior RF MMIC Design Engineer you will design RF/MMIC’s for multiple components in the transceiver based product development, guide product development through critical stages including concept/feasibility, development, pre-production, qualification, and production You will be involved in baseband/IF/RF circuit design using linear and nonlinear models and 2.5D and 3D electromagnetic simulators, RF test board design, test, characterization, and data analysis. You will also mentor more junior team members in design concepts and best practices.  As the successful Senior RF IC Designer you are industry degree qualified with at least 5 years of experience in RF and mmWave design experience including 3 years in RF and/or mmWave IC design including of LNAs, mixers, VCOs, PAs in CMOS technology with good understanding of RF transceiver architectures and trade-offs. You have solid skills in microwave design methodologies including S-parameters, power, efficiency, source/load pull, noise figure, linearity and intermodulation distortion, off-set calculation as well as knowledge of 3GPP standards, carrier specifications and the ability to translate system requirements into circuit requirements in collaboration with system engineers. You are proficient using microwave and EM simulation tools such as ADS, MWO, SONNET, EMX, CST, HFSS, or Momentum/EMPro and have experience in silicon characterization and debug.
