Lead Agile Business Analyst (BPMN)

Central London

Brand new role created in a change management team of approx 80 people working for a well known financial services business based centrally in London. Experience within FS, Insurance or Investment markets would be highly beneficial for this role.

The business is moving from Waterfall to Agile, and in the process of bringing in an Agile Partner to support them through this process. As one of the Lead BAs, you will come with strong Agile experience and ideally have worked in a business transitioning before where you can bring some of that knowledge and experience to the role. We are looking for individuals with an inquisitive personality resilient, can manage strong personalities when running workshops and have energy and drive for their role.

Key Responsibilities:

* Understand business objectives and existing processes

* Advise and contribute to development ideas and opportunities for improvement

* Investigate and propose business solutions across all business functions

* Contribute to project proposal, definition and planning

* Process analysis and design data modelling

* Plan and define Business Analysis work for projects/changes

* Analyse, document and clearly communicate business requirements

* Write functional specs and work with IT to design the appropriate solution

* Take a lead in project work streams where appropriate, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders

* Build and maintain strong relationships with business teams and external support providers

* Ensure solutions are fully tested and approved prior to implementation

* Support the design and use of change standards, methodologies and templates

Essential:

* Agile methodology and practical delivery experience

* Process analysis, modelling, design and re-egineering

* Core business analyst skills, requirements engineering, workshops etc

* Experience of converting business and functional requirements into use cases, epics and user stories with acceptance criteria

* Excellent MS Office suite skills, including Visio

* Problem solving and critical thinking skills

* Ability to engage both developers and business specialists to achieve target outcomes

* Experience of a similar role in Financial Services

* Be versatile in taking on additional work outside of their normal remit and also execute any additional scope as the project evolves

* Excellent communication skills with friendly and approachable manner

Desirable:

* Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN 2.0)

* Use of Sparx Enterprise Architect

* Full project lifecycle experience

* Data governance experience
