Description:
To provide tactical analytical support to assist in cartel intelligence gathering and analysis and cartel investigations under the criminal and civil regimes. To review intelligence and / or investigation material and advise the case team leader on the most appropriate way to collate, analyse and present it for the purposes of the proposed criminal prosecution and / or civil proceedings. To analyse and associate intelligence and / or investigation material to identify key evidence, potential further lines of inquiry and primary witnesses.
Intelligence Manager - responsible to the DCI Intelligence for management and delivery of all overt MDP Crime Intelligence and Special Branch functions, outputs and staff.
Management and delivery of MDP Crime Intelligence and Special Branch Tactical intelligence priorities and identification of emerging threats to MoD/MDP business.
The management of MDP Crime Intelligence and Special Branch Force wide operations, managing threats or potential threats to national security (terrorism, extremism, protest) from a MoD perspective and/or in support of Force and National Intelligence priorities.
Ensuring all intelligence is managed, processed and stored in accordance with NSIM, Force standards, relevant legislation and guidelines.
Development of strategic partnerships in relation to the sharing and use of intelligence and joint operations
Development, provision and coordination of NIM intelligence products that will support MDP Force Strategic and Tactical Tasking and Coordination priorities.
Special Training - The incumbent will require to be trained or be trained in the national CT intelligence systems and intelligence processes.
