Business Intelligence Analyst / Developer - Bristol - £30,000 - £45,000It isn't every day that an opportunity like this becomes available! A leading software consultancy are looking for a number of exceptional Business Intelligence Analysts/Developers to join their expanding business.
You will be working as part of an agile development team, predominantly focused on an ETL project whilst also contributing to a range of other existing and Greenfield projects. Initially working alongside our client facing consultants you will increasingly take responsibility for the client engagement on a particular project; gathering requirements, planning and then delivering appropriate solutions and reports.
You'll be expected to recommend, design and code efficient and effective solutions, keeping in mind both immediate and long term requirements.
Required Skills:Previous exposure to advanced SQL constructs and developmentExposure to using SQL for data extraction and ETL across standard commercial databases.Understanding of relational and dimensional data modelling techniquesAbility to design, develop and deploy ETL processes and performance tuning of ETL mappings/sessionsStrong SSRS skillsDesired:Exposure to and reasonable understanding of C#Strong mathematical skillsPrevious exposure to working
in reinsurance or capital marketsThe Company
