Do you want to focus on new and existing product development without the stress of man-management?Would you like to opportunity to "get off the tools" and move into a more strategic role where you will be responsible for the full product lifecycle management of auxiliary power products for a global group?If you've got extensive electrical design and product development experience, a relevant degree or are a chartered engineer then please read on and get in touch.Our client is a global leader in auxiliary power products and they are looking to bring in a Principle Electrical Product Development Engineer to provide a dedicated group focus on technical aspects of their auxiliary power products.This role will give you the opportunity to act as Technical Product Manager with the skills of a Principal Electrical Engineer providing subject matter expertise in electrical power systems.You will be tasked with identifying and fulfilling strategic auxiliary power product requirements and opportunities in close relationship the group. You will review roadmaps to ensure evolving business requirements are met. You will establish processes and business relationships that will promote and support utilisation of the products across the group.This position is based near Glasgow and reasonable relocation costs will be covered to ensure that you get off on the right footing.Depending upon what value you can add to the business your salary will be in the region of £55,000 - £65,000. In addition to this you will also benefit from a 15% annual bonus (potentially higher depending upon company performance) and a great pension scheme.
