They are looking for candidates who wish to develop their software skills and build automated test suites for complex applications.

About the role

- After training, you'll be working as a test engineer on one of their client projects.

- Moving onto other client work (typically after 6 months to a year)

- Responsible for testing features through manual and automated testing

- Responsible for defining and executing test automation frameworks at UI, API and integrating with CI/CD pipelines

- Helping with the companies internal applications or other work when possible

- Working closely with clients to understand their needs and working with the team whilst on client site.

Desirable skills

- Scientific or technical degree, or a relevant professional qualification, or equivalent experience

- Some experience in software development, using Python or Java (and related technologies)

- Understanding of common programming models (client/server, web based, integration)

- Understanding of development methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps

- Evidence of logical and structured approach to problem solving

- Web technologies (front end particularly, a clear understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc. and how they fit together)

The job will be based in London and sometimes on client site depending on the project.
