A French Bank are now hiring for a Front Office - RAD Python Developer for a initial 5 months assignment paying £500 per day Ltd Company Contract. This is a RAD Python Developer role requiring strong technical and design skills as well as scripting knowledge (Python, JavaScript/Angular). The role is based on the trading floor and requires working with colleagues across geographies to provide common tools for pricing.The role requires a sense of independence and ability to work within a challenging environment. A broad general knowledge of banking is important. The role involves significant exposure to front office users; mainly Traders, Sales, Structuring and Quantitative research departments and is a great opportunity to learn and extend the successful candidate's skills in a broad range of financial products.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding key business requirements of Vanilla and Exotic Products desks.Maintaining strong working relationships with trading, structuring, sales, quants and support functions.Designing an innovative Web API to provide a pricing tool to Sales and Structuring.Support risk and pricing tools and utilize good coding practice to ensure long term maintainability of coding solution in order to reduce the supportProvide documentation of risk and pricing tools.Required skills & Knowledge:Higher Education (Degree or equivalent) in computer science, maths or engineeringSoftware development lifecycle.Experience in investment banking as an IT Rapid Application developer in both Risk and Pricing.Experience in programming with live feeds (e.g. Reuters, Bloomberg)Front Office facing role experienceStrong VBA Excel development.Angular / Javascript experienceStrong Python development.Good fixed income financial knowledge (vanilla, structured products).DESIRABLE: SQL If you have the required skills and you would like to be represented for this assignment please email your up-to-date details (which must clearly show your skills in the above required and requested skills if you are to be considered).Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you.
