.Net Developer (DevOps and Microservices training) £45kYorkJob DescriptionMy client provide innovative remote mental health-care services to patients and clinicians across the UK and they are experiencing a period of extreme growth with the headcount triple what it was around a year ago. Their ambition is to be the leading provider of remote mental health-care not only in the UK but in Europe too.Too support this growth they have begun to build an impressive in-house IT Team comprising of Data Engineers, DevOps Engineers and Developers who have been tasked with developing a microservice-based service layer built on Azure which will be used to integrate their growing portfolio of systems and products. This role will evolve over time as the company is constantly expanding organically and through acquisitions.Experience requirements:You will have an understanding of DevOps methodologies and worked with tools such as Docker, Team City, Octopus Deploy or similar. Ideally you have worked with Azure DevOps however there will be a degree of up-skilling and, if necessary, training provided in this areaA background in C#/.Net (Core, ideally) development as there will be a lot of back-end work initiallyExperience of .Net core would be fantasticExperience with integration and Rest API's + Catalogues (Swagger / Azure Data Catalogue)

What to expect from the roleThis is a small team and it will be all-hands on deck as there is an exciting and busy pipeline of projects to crack on with, you may find yourself wearing multiple hats sometimes and there will be variety in your role as you'll help with testing, DevOps, Microservice Architecture, Back-End Development and Front-End development too on occasion (TypeScript/JavaScript/CSS/jQuery)You will develop your DevOps skills and get a chance to be hands-on building deployment pipelines.Exposure to Microservice ArchitectureWork on a greenfield project with a highly competent team who can do things the right way from the very beginningChange!
