Reed Professional Services (RPS) has engaged with one of the key Central Government departments to work on a large and complex internal infrastructure project. In order to further compliment the team delivering these programmes, RPS have an exciting opportunity for Java Developer (DV cleared) to join our team of experts based in Croydon to facilitate the successful PPM delivery and support. Candidate must hold a valid DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance. What will you be doing? Experience: Looking for someone with prior experience working within the public sector / central government and proven experience working within Agile environments following TDD and BDD principles. Extensive experience working with Java (Java 8) and prior demonstratable experience with AWS (S3, EC2 etc) Skills:Experience with frameworks including Springboot and/or KafkaExperience building bespoke / custom API'sDemonstratable experience working with REST Microservice ArchitectureExperience using DockerComfortable performing code reviews and, when necessary, working in a co-design environment If this sounds like a challenge you would relish, we'd love to hear from you, so please apply below.
