A building is only as good as its architect - and it's the same with security systems.
You'll be working in the finance sector (no finance experience needed), leading your team through the battle of Cyber Security. You'll be responsible for lifecycle management, design review and ensuring that everything your squad works on is up to international standards.
Developing and nurturing your team is a key part of this role, and you'll be working with internal Technology teams on a regular basis. Your colleagues have been chosen for the same reason as you: their ability to think outside the box. Clichéd, sure, but taking the initiative and having extraordinary ideas is not only encouraged, it's rewarded - with amazing internal mobility.
You'll have access to all the latest software, regularly attending conferences and keeping up to date with any legal changes in your sector. You've got a bigger-picture attitude and can see how new tech fits within the landscape, as well as how best to utilise it on a day-to-day basis.
There's no coding involved but you'll need to be an SME in Cyber Security. You'll be working with anti-threat and anti-malware software, along with SIEM solutions. An understanding of perimeter security controls, Windows, Linux and UNIX will put you in a strong position.
