JOB DETAILSDevelop software with one focus - Natural Language Processing and Text Analytics.
You'll be joining a team of extremely talented software engineers, building a software package used purely for analysing text and various kinds of natural language. It's an area of AI/Machine Learning that is growing hugely and will continue to do so over the next few years.
Alongside other Masters (with a couple of years experience) and PhDs, you'll work on additions to the package, in a varied development environment.
Production code in C/C++ and prototyping/designing things in a scientific language such as Python, MATLAB or R.
You'll already be well versed with NLP/Text Analysis from your research or thesis and you want to develop software, rather than be a data scientist.
Your first 12 months will involve getting you up to speed in order to become a world-class software developer. You'll have full knowledge and experience of an agile development environment and you'll have made some great friends, from a great wider team.
Salaries are in the top range in Cambridge and benefits are excellent.
