Senior Software Engineer / Developer (C++ 11 Backend Real-time Optimisation). Leading global investment management firm powered by cutting edge data and technology is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to enhance their capabilities across their talented teams.

The organisation specialises in developing automated trading systems that execute across global financial markets, achieving high quality return for their prestigious client base.

As a Senior Software Engineer you'll be responsible for designing, developing and testing critical front to back trading infrastructure for global frameworks that are used for algorithmic trading. You'll get stuck into all aspects of the software development lifecycle and partner with key researchers, engineers and stakeholders business-wide to ensure global consistency, and optimising the reuse of software components.

In this Senior Software Engineer role you'll be a key player in a global team, and will work closely with teams in Singapore and Montreal. There will be plenty of opportunities to develop and refine your technical skills, as well as the chance to move into a Technical Leadership role if desired.

Requirements:

*You are a C++ expert and have strong Linux experience

*You have experience with code optimisation with high performing applications within a financial services environment (e.g. real-time market data, exchange connectivity, feed handlers, parsers)

*You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science Fundamentals (e.g. OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures etc.)

*You have good working knowledge of Distributed System design

*You're a positive team player who excels when working in a highly collaborative environment

*Beneficial: Python / CMake experience
