SUMMARY OF ROLE

This role will require involvement at all stages of the project lifecycle, including input to pre-sales and bids, analysis of requirements, design, documentation, testing, implementation and post-implementation support.

The role is as a senior analyst and team lead. As such the candidate will be expected to act as a line manager for other team members and a mentor for junior team members.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provision of effort/cost estimates for new project work.

- Liaison with customers and other company staff to define and document system requirements.

- Analysis and design of technical solutions for user requirements and issues.

- Impact analysis and technical design of changes relating to card scheme mandates (including but not limited to LINK, Visa, MasterCard, Union Pay International, DFS/Diners, American Express, JCB).

- Production of test documentation for new software releases, including test plans, conditions, and scripts, in accordance to company Test Methodology and procedures.

- Production of operational procedures for project/support related changes.

- Production of implementation instructions and release control documentation.

- Software implementation.

- Ensure that technical standards are upheld throughout project life cycle in accordance to company development and other technical standards.

- Ensure technical solutions meet all appropriate compliance and security mandates such as PCI-DSS.

- Technical ownership of end to end solutions.

- Organise other technical staff on projects when acting as a technical lead, both staff and external contractors / suppliers.

- Provide peer review for other Development staff.
