As the eContent Tech Manager you will be responsible for the end to end Tech landscape that supports the consumer and customer eContent journey for GSK Consumer Healthcare. You will be responsible for leading our priority markets and tech teams with respect to Digital Commerce eContent tech infrastructure delivering industry defining consumer experiences on key customer platforms and driving growth for our brands and our business. Simply put, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for Digital Commerce eContent Tech within GSK Consumer Healthcare, implementing that strategy and ensuring said strategy delivers meaningful and measurable growth for our portfolio.

In this critical new role, sitting within the Agility Enablement team, you will ultimately be accountable for partnering with key functions across the organisation to deliver and deliver effectively with the credibility and authority to influence senior stakeholders (Associate, Director, VP and in some cases SVPs). Key partner functions include but are not limited to; Tech, Enterprise Data and Marketing Edge (specifically, MarTech & Operations teams).

As the eContent Tech Manager you will ultimately be responsible for ensuring that consumer, customer and competitive dynamics with respect to Digital Commerce eContent Tech & Optimisation Systems are considered and embedded within Global Digital Commerce and Tech delivery plans in support of our priority markets.

This role will work as part of a critical four-person team tasked with driving operational and executional agility across our digital commerce business. Primarily, the eContent Tech Manager (Tech & Process Enablement) and Global eContent Lead (Business Process) will work hand in hand to deliver a connected, more agile and responsive experience for our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for setting the direction and leading the Global Digital Commerce eContent Tech strategy, partnering with Global Digital Commerce Regional and Marketing Edge teams to ensure our systems and processes deliver a connected and seamless experience for our consumers/customers whilst delivering measurable sales growth for our brands.

Responsible for embedding an agile, product mindset and developmental approach driving against the devised strategy, with clearly defined KPIs that have an explicit focus on driving industry defining performance in Must Win markets.

Responsible for representing the Global Digital Commerce team as the single point of contact for Tech and Enterprise Data teams to deliver the broader Digital Commerce agenda as well as the eContent infrastructure priorities.

Responsible for partnering with Must Win markets to ensure clearly defined business processes and tech enablement agenda to support the Digital Commerce eContent Strategy and local execution in collaboration with the Global eContent Lead and Regional Digital Commerce Teams that brings executional and operational agility to our business.

Responsible for ensuring our Digital Commerce eContent Products/Partners reflect the best in class products for their respective areas in our Must Win markets to deliver industry defining performance and superior experiences for our consumers and customers.

Responsible for collaborating closely with Global Digital Commerce eContent Lead and Tech teams to drive progress towards an E2E, connected, agile and automated (where possible) experience for internal teams that facilitates and empowers local teams to execute rapid eContent optimisation and performance marketing to capitalise on external competitive opportunities.

Responsible for leading and partnering with the relevant Marketing Edge and Must Win teams to ensure GSK Consumer Healthcare has the best tech partners to deliver and execute against the Digital Commerce eContent strategy with agility to industry defining standards.

Responsible for collaborating closely with the Global Digital Commerce Partnership Manager to manage/operationalise and where required, identify best in class agency partners that support and deliver value to the Digital Commerce eContent strategy and broader ambition.

Responsible for working with other Digital Commerce and Operations Product Owners to identify and deliver joint value opportunities for our customers that supports our overall Commerce strategy and Digital ambition.

Ability to work with local market and area teams to map and understand the full end-to-end processes, landscapes, work and data flows that support successful activation and utilisation in new markets.

Accountable for managing business budgets and expenditure related to PxM, project managers, development and vendor resources where required.

Responsible for providing regular updates to internal stakeholders and senior management on progress, vision and ROI.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Tech or related discipline

Extensive experience of Digital Commerce/Tech/Digital Marketing

Experience with Product Information/Experience Management and Digital Asset Management

Experience of content performance/measurement technology

Experience of managing outsourced technology

Experience of engaging and influencing internal and external stakeholders

Agile mindset and/or experience implementing agile ways of working
