We are responsible for Technology Operations and for managing our IT Suppliers, and we guarantee the Information Security for our Partners and our Customers. The Service Design Manager is a new role within the CIO Transition to Operations group and is critical to ensuring that all new IT services are fit for purpose.  Working to the Head of Service Design and Transition as a member of a small transition team you will play a key role in making sure that new services are designed in a consistent way and be responsible for ensuring that transition of new applications to Business as Usual (BAU) operation is successful as we bring the management of our IT services in house. You'll be collaborating as a centre of excellence in process design, project delivery and continuous improvement across all of the Bank's technology activities.  This role is a fantastic opportunity to bring your skills and experience in Service Design this new team. Key responsibilities include: Building, setting, maintaining and improving policies, standards and models for service design including the transition of responsibility for Service Design in house from TSB's existing IT supplier in Spain Ensuring that programme teams are successful in producing service designs that are fit for purpose through support for resourcing, training and mentoring Managing the interaction and coordination with suppliers to ensure that standards are consistent and workable Engaging with stakeholders to resolve conflicting priorities for service design activities Owning the continuous improvement process for service design, Working with the Service Transition Manager to ensure that service designs are successfully handed over to our Business as Usual teams We'd love you to have these skills and experience: ITIL certification or equivalent, relevant qualification in a Financial Services or similar organisation Demonstrable experience and track record in a service design/service transition environment engaging with teams, senior stakeholders and suppliers Exposure to leading service design tools and techniques and experience in building best in class processes
