A new and very exciting position has arisen to join a fast growing and pioneering start-up company located in the historic city of Edinburgh, Scotland where you will have the opportunity to work on innovative solutions for wireless technology! In this position you will be working on Analog and RF IC Design including; TIAs, Mixers, Oscillators and power management. Responsibilities include:Analysing system requirements and defining effective design solutions working at RF frequenciesDeveloping behavioural models of Mixed Signal designs Creating AMS verification plans and drive thorough design to ensure first time silicon successCollaborating with production test engineers to develop efficient ATE solutionsWorking in the lab to validate the devices on the benchIndustry degree qualified the successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years Analog and/or RF IC Design experience. Experience in working in high frequency RF IC Design is ideal for the position along with knowledge of wireless networking protocols. Experience in DC-DC converters for power management solutions is ideal. Experience in the use of design and simulation tools is required along with the ability to define layout requirements.
