FINTEC recruit is seeking an Android Developer for our retail software client based in Woking. This is a permanent position with salary negotiable by experience £50,000 to £65,000, bonus and benefits. Working within a cross development scrum team. Monday to Friday 9 a.m.to 5.30p.m. flexibilities in office/home remote working. Key development skills are Android, Kotlin, java.

Responsibilities:

Design, architecture and writing code for all areas of the product whether it be front end, server side, database or even deployment and build infrastructure

Skills and Experience required for the Android Developer role:

Android Material design guidelines and best practices

Android framework like Android Architecture Components (Room, Volley , ViewModel, LiveData)

Building scalable code using dependency injection (Dagger, Koin), RXJava, Retrofit/Volley

Building complex Android applications using the latest design patterns (MVP, MVVM etc)

Experience working with a variety of web services data formats (e.g. JSON, XML, ProtoBuf), architectural styles (e.g. REST, GraphQL) and authentication schemes (e.g. OAuth2.0)

Excellent understanding of Junit, Mockito and Espresso.

Good understanding of Gradle and the Android Studio build process

Experience in developing applications in Kotlin

Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and analytical skills
