JavaScript Developer / Front End Engineer (UI UX React Node.js). A key partner to the commodities trading community is seeking a multi-skilled JavaScript Developer to support them in transforming their enterprise software.

You could showcase your expertise in this market leading company, and support the overhaul of their commodities trading platform used by industry innovators.

As a JavaScript Developer, you'll take ownership of key design and development responsibilities in the current and future stack engineering of the company's core platform, with a focus on contributing to front end development, so there will be plenty of opportunities for you to make your mark and on the creative elements of projects from the start.

You'll partner with the CTO and UI/Front End capability lead to develop the next generation UI frameworks and the critical UI layer of the platform's strategic architecture. You'll have the opportunity to develop and refine your technical skills with involvement across the SDLC, improving processes and ensuring best practices are met.

This role would suit a proactive, capable JavaScript Developer who is keen to get involved in a diverse range of projects. Whilst being mindful of technical realities, you'll have the opportunity to turn conceptual ideas into wireframes which will eventually be produced as features.

Requirements:

You have strong JavaScript skills (including React / Redux)

You have meticulous attention to detail and understanding of combining aesthetics and usability

You have a strong appreciation of UI / UX design and development

You have experience with Node.js and supporting build tools like Webpack

You're a positive team player, keen work collaboratively and get stuck in to get the job done
