Network Operation Centre Manager

Barrow In Furness - Cumbria / Lancashire

Permanent / full time

£70k-£80k+ generous package

In order to drive the growth agenda in Cloud Infrastructure Services, our client are looking to expand the team. You will be involved in the implementation and maintenance of quality systems within the business.

You also have the subsequent experience and strengths:

*Establish and grow the role as the focal point used by Service Operations to support the end to end management of Client IT Services

*Deliver an effective monitoring function - identifying emerging issues and ensuring that these are addressed

*Ensure that potential issues and/or deteriorating performance are identified through analysis and use of monitoring tools

*Develop effective and positive relationships with Delivery Groups and Service Operations Teams to enable effective operation

*Be a key part of Service Operations contributing to improving the effectiveness of Service Operations

*Understanding of ITIL and participated in Incident, Problem and Change management processes

*Managed teams and analysts' tasks to ensure that contractual SLA's and KPI's are met

*Manage and develop Service Analysts

*You have supported quality systems in the day to day management and operation of a Business Operations Centre (BOC) / (similar experience of managing an ITOC or NOC management would also suffice)

*Ensured that potential issues and/or deteriorating performance are identified through trending, analysis and use of monitoring tools

*Ensured a BOC / NOC / ITOC that maintains a view of significant issues across the Client estate

*Have experience of a BOC / NOC / ITOC that has a forward view of change and key events that may impact service performance or require additional focus

*Managed BOC / NOC / ITOC Service Analysts

*Overseen monitoring facilities are pro-actively monitored so that alerts and service variations are spotted and acted on

*Proven and effective knowledge of systems and processes that identified issues that are then owned and addressed by Delivery Groups

*Ensured monitoring is current and active at all required times and supported the needs of Cross Tower Operations

*Identified when issues needed to be passed to support teams appropriately and timely to ensure progression by relevant Delivery Groups
