DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (Ruby AWS Data). Pioneering technology company is seeking skilled Devops Engineer for 6 month contract as they build the next-generation infrastructure to power the future of the internet.

As a DevOps Engineer you'll get stuck in at granular level, building solutions to enhance availability, performance and stability of the core cutting edge platform as well as taking ownership of developing new network services.

In this DevOps Engineer position, day to day you'll work with an up-to-the-minute tech stack, writing code for infrastructure automation, orchestration, configuration and CI testing and making extensive use of a wide range of AWS services. You'll have the chance to collaborate with the wider engineering team to design and implement new features and services.

Requirements:

You have professional scripting / coding experience with at least one of the following: Ruby, Go, Bash, Elixir, Node.js, C

You have experience working with AWS (or other cloud providers)

You have a solid background working with Linux

You have experience with Docker for containerisation

You have experience working with data services (e.g. Cassandra)

You are a positive team player, committed to delivering scalable, high quality code

Job role: DevOps Engineer / SRE; Location: London; Rate: £500 to £600 p/day; Term: 6 months; Start: Immediate / ASAP
