Reed Professional Services (RPS) has engaged with one of the key Central Government departments to work on a large and complex internal infrastructure project. In order to further compliment the team delivering these programmes, RPS have an exciting opportunity for Java Developer to join our team of experts based in Croydon to facilitate the successful PPM delivery and support. Who will you be working for? RPS provide project delivery and tailored PMO services, helping our customer's projects go from concept to completion. Our project delivery services are custom tailored to meet individual needs, whilst drawing on broad market experience and proven methodology from a variety of sectors including Media, Banking and Central Government. We keep the end goal firmly in mind and can scale as in line with customer needs. What will you be doing? Experience: Looking for someone with prior experience working within the public sector / central government and proven experience working within Agile environments following TDD and BDD principles. Extensive experience working with Java (Java 8) and prior demonstratable experience with AWS (S3, EC2 etc) Skills: v Experience with frameworks including Springboot and/or Kafka v Prior demonstratable experience with AWS (S3, EC2 etc) v Experience building bespoke / custom API's v Demonstratable experience working with REST Microservice Architecture v Experience using Docker v Comfortable performing code reviews and, when necessary, working in a co-design environment Candidate must hold valid DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance If this sounds like a challenge you would relish, we'd love to hear from you, so please apply below.
