Server and Storage ManagerContract - Inside IR35£500 a dayNorth YorkshireSecurity Vetting Required Responsibilities:Identification and evaluation of business and system provider requirements. Oversee the configuration and implementation support of Force ICT systems in line with agreed parameters.Line management of an IT operational infrastructure team, ensuring that agreed service levels are met and all relevant Organisational and Departmental procedures are adhered to.To be the principal contact point for operational referrals necessitating professional advice in the specialist areas of infrastructure services.Ensuring operational procedures and working practices are fit for purpose and current accounting for any national, regional and local mandates.Essential Skills: Proficient in infrastructure technologies including virtualisation, cloud, networking and security.Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, SCCM, Virtual Apps and Desktops application delivery.Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016 & Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014/2016.Strong technical background, particularly DBA, with in-depth understanding of a broad range of technical concepts and architectures within complex multiplatform environments.Possesses a good level of management skills and used to working to standard contracting procedures, KPI and SLA service delivery standards. Management Skills required:Proven experience of line managing and providing leadership to ICT engineering staff.Strong demand management skills to ensure ongoing support of systems is conducted in parallel with project work in regards to all matters infrastructure.Educated to Degree level in a Computing/Software/Technology related subject, or equivalent or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.ITIL Foundation or above, with proven experience in configuration management, release management and testing processes.Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and team working skills are essential to this role in working closely with the internal ICT teams as well as business colleagues and third party providers/ suppliers.
