Technical Tester / QA Engineer (c# .net web testing). Key partner to the financial services industry is seeking a multi-skilled Technical Tester to support their global operation.

As a Technical Tester you'll work across manual and automated testing of the newly developed web applications. You'll be a critical member of the testing team, working collaboratively to define and implement the team's automated testing strategy.

You'll have the opportunity to use a variety of contemporary tools and languages to create maintainable and reliable automated tests at the appropriate level, showcasing your ability by writing clean, robust code to support the overall software testing effort.

Requirements:

Experience in developing and testing software using Microsoft technologies (.Net, SQL Server, Windows)

Experience of testing web applications

Commitment to producing high quality code (C# preferred, will consider Java or other OO language)

Understanding of practical networking concepts (TCP/IP) and virtualised environments

First rate communication skills, collaborative approach to working in a team

Degree educated (2.1 or above, BSc / MSc / PhD) Computer Science preferred
