Junior Automation Tester Location: Newcastle upon TyneSalary: £20K-£26K (DOE) This organisation are going through some exciting changes within their Testing team and they are looking to take on a junior tester. If you are looking for a new role and you have a passion for testing this could be the role for you! A little about the role This role will be a great hands on testing position working on some incredible and forward thinking commercial applications. It will look to utilise your expertise in Testing Web applications as well as your hunger and drive to take on new responsibilities to expand your skill set.You will work as part of a wider Dev team ensuring that all applications work to the specifications of given End Users as well as having fluid and effective functionalities.This organisation is looking to progress someone into the World of Automation, as well as taking part in existing Test functions, you will also be mentored and trained by the existing Automation Testers to really build a solid understanding of key Automation principles and skills, and how these can work together with existing Test activities.A little about you Ideally, you will be looking to embark on a journey of learning and development to expand your knowledge and understanding of Software Testing.You might already have some great commercial experience in the World of Software Testing, but equally if you are looking to gain this commercial experience this role could be the one you've been looking for!Any commercial experience/exposure to Automation (Selenium WebDriver, Selenium IDE, Ranorex etc.) will be ideal as this will help with all the additional training you will receive.Why apply?If you want to join a young but stable business where you have the chance to progress within this role please don't hesitate to apply!
