Java Engineer - FTSE 100

Salary up to £65,000 + Bonus + 1 day Remote Europe's leading Asset management team is looking for a Java Engineer to develop on their flagship Java microservice architecture helping financial companies make better informed investment decisions.You'll engage in the build, delivery and deployment of multiple platforms. Our Java Engineer will be working on Java 8, on complex microservice development and event-based problems.As the Java Engineer you will be exposed to:Java 8 development scaled through various software container tools including Docker and Kubernetes.Cloud-based deployment on AWS.Agile and Scrum development methodologies with TDD / BDD and continuous integration.

You as the Java Engineer will be working closely with the Lead Engineer in a 100% hands-on coding function to build a system that is critical to the continued growth of the business. You will also have the opportunity to mentor more junior Java Engineers. The offices located in Brighton are relaxed and highly collaborative.
