Project Manager - GDPRAs a core member of RPS's Technology Team, you will be assisting in one of the largest workforces in the UK which includes over 120,000 employees. Who will you be working for?RPS provide project delivery and tailored PMO services, helping our customer's projects go from concept to completion. Our project delivery services are custom tailored to meet individual needs, whilst drawing on broad market experience and proven methodology from a variety of sectors including Logistics, Media, Banking and Central Government. We keep the end goal firmly in mind and can scale as in line with customer needs.What will you be doing?RPS are looking for a Project Manager to work within the clients Cyber Security team who's primary functions will be around the protection of information assets and to detect, analyse and respond to security information and events. The successful candidate will be working across multiple medium sized projects, with some that have not yet started. You will be targeting a large amount of data that needs to be organised in line with GDPR industry standards.Experience: Excellent team and stakeholder management skillsProven track record of leading and managing IT-enabled change projects through all stages of the project lifecycle (including Concept, Feasibility and Business Case Development)Demonstrable credibility and gravitas to work with, and relate to, a highly demanding internal client base and complex external supplier baseHistory of developing and maintaining internal partner relationships, with sound experience of working with multiple third parties (suppliers)Deep appreciation of how governance and policies are applied to the delivery of a projectExperience of working in large organisations, with a desire to contribute in a collaborative, team based environment, beyond the direct remit of the position.Qualified in a recognised project and programme management methodology, e.g. Prince2, Scrum of Scrums, Kanban, SAFeExperience of delivering projects using methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, LeanStrong financial acumen (appreciation of cost performance assessment; demonstrable project financial planning). Skills:- Understanding of Cyber Security programmes, Previous experience of working for a logistics company, Previous experience of working for a consultancy.The role is based in Farringdon, LondonDoes this role sound like you?
