Principal Controller 3 MonthsFarnboroughJob description/Person specification: The role will specifically control Bid projects, in close conjunction with the Sales Team. The role will work under the PMO.The role is responsible for the delivery of project controls within an assigned team, under the leadership of a Senior Project or Programme Manager or Senior Principal Project Controller.Key Accountabilities The setup, implementation and improvement of the new bidding cost management process.The forecasting of all MLW bid revenue, cash invoices, demand in PPM.The setup and management of all MLW bidding WBS in SAP.Performance reporting of all bidding forecasts and actuals.Ensures all bidding costs are under control and that accountable Sales leads are taking the necessary actions.Supports the Heads of Sales in bidding performance analysis, specifically ROI for competed bids.Ensure the effective hand over from bidding to delivery project control.Key Capabilities/Knowledge Working knowledge of project management principles and how project control activities underpin them.Sharing knowledge, skills and best practice across the client.Demonstrable competence in SAP, MS Excel (including add-ins), Word, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint and SharePoint.Good organisational and record keeping skills.Awareness of the project lifecycle and sales processes.Intermediate process management skills.Recognised expert in a number of project support activities and tools.Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload and multi-task.Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at varying levels.Ability to work as part of a team and well as unsupervised.Qualifications Educated to a minimum of GCSE level (to included English and Mathematics). 2. Competence against the agreed Project controls Competency Framework at a level of Foundation or APMP Introductory Certificate desirable Suitable candidates should submit their CV in the first instance.
