Desktop Support Engineer

Up to £23 per hour (Inside IR35)

Leahtherhead

12 month contract

Responsibilities:

* Installation, moves and decommissioning of desk equipment (workstations, docking stations, monitors, local printers, peripherals, network printers & MFDs)

* Break/fix support for desktop equipment (deskside & in the IT Solution Centre)

* Staging, racking, installation, set-up and patching of IT infrastructure such as servers, network, storage devices and audio-visual equipment

* Performing tape backup & restore support, physical tape management and related offsite storage coordination activities

Essential Requirements:

* Good working knowledge of intel-based PC hardware and MS-Windows 7, 8 & 10 OS

* Good working knowledge of MS-Office products including Outlook

* Working knowledge of servers and network equipment (including network patching)

£23 per hour (Inside IR35)
