About the Role

Our Client Data Insight team works closely with teams across Shelter to develop reporting and analysis that can be turned into insight and change and provide in-depth analysis of client focused business activities. Your challenge will be to develop and deliver business analytics processes to support effective decision making at senior leadership level. But that's not all. We'll also rely on you to develop and support self-service tools and deliver ad-hoc reporting products to meet the varying needs of stakeholders from across the organisation. Some of your work will relate to ad hoc pieces of analysis to support very specific needs, whereas others will be part of the scheduled reporting and analysis tools that the team continuously strive to improve.

About you.

Coming from a business analysis environment, you're used to organising and undertaking project work and familiar with the relevant core reporting tools (we use Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Excel utilising Azure SQL databases). What's more, you're great at producing high quality written reports and data visualisation and presenting your findings to groups of stakeholders. The ability to respond quickly and positively to change is important too, as is a creative and lateral thinking approach and willingness to challenge the status quo and introduces new ideas. Commercially aware, customer-focused and committed to achieving results, you enoy building good working relationships too, and are also keent to develop a thorough understanding of both Shelter and the wider sector.
