Programme Manager - Law enforcement - London - 12 months+

A Programme Manager is required for a law enforcement organisation in central London to provide leadership, direction, support and deliverables and to ensure that work is properly attributed and completed to a sufficient quality.

The Programme Manager will be responsible for the following activities and deliverables:

*Deliver the programme objectives within the authorities delegated by the Steering Group

*Ensures the programme enables the targeted business benefits to be achieved by delivering the scope on time, within budget and to quality

*Delivers the business objectives for the programme as a basis for resolving problems and conflicts of interest, and making compromises prior to escalation

*Manages programme level risks and issues and escalates where necessary

Qualifications such as MSP Practitioner and PgMP would be beneficial but knowledge and experience are more important.

Knowledge:

*The management of a large and diverse stakeholder group, including responsibility for communication and engagement of the group at senior stakeholder levels.

*The capability to define and deliver in complex programme environments, and will bring leading practice, proven tools, templates and next generation methodologies to support the ongoing success of the project.

*Senior Stakeholder engagement including oversight of boards accountable at programme and portfolio levels.

*Stakeholder communication in relation to the overall programme reporting and governance structure.
