PHP Developer / Full Stack Software Engineer (php symfony react). Are you looking for a role where you can get stuck into it all? As a PHP Developer, you'll be supporting the development of a unique platform that serves hundreds of thousands of users daily. You'll create products using Symfony, PHP, Typescript, React, LESS and MySQL, working with the tight-knit, dynamic Engineering team to develop new functionality and build a better more scalable platform. Essentially you'll be bridging the gaps between front and back end, optimising output and working to your strengths.

You'll help to build production strength applications and SaaS platforms based on best practices architectures, providing high availability and ensuring applications are running at their best. As a PHP Developer you will partner closely with stakeholders (specifically Product Manager and the Design team) to guide development and translate technological ideas through to completion.

This PHP Developer role would suit a keen problem solver, comfortable on the command line and confident with the tools and processes of a fast-moving modern software development environment.

Requirements:

You have commercial experience as a PHP Developer, using Laravel / Symfony PHP on the back end and React on the front end

You are familiar with / have used Typescript / LESS / MySQL

You understand the complexities of the technology stack and strive to implement improvements with a commitment to high-quality code and great testing

You are a confident and self-assured communicator, willing to push back on ideas to champion the best development methods

You have a degree (2.1 or above) in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
