My client in the payments space is undergoing significant digital transformation and is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst for an initial 12 month contract based in Melbourne.Primary Function of the Role:The Senior Technical Analyst candidate will need to be all-rounded; able to adapt to a fast-paced, lean and agile working environment. In summary, the Senior Technical Analyst role will:Be a self-starter and be a "one-man Band" providing specialist skills, knowledge, implementation, support and direction to Users, in the Non prod environment space for a FIS (Data navigator and IST) implementation.Be responsible maintenance and support of production and non-production systems, and relevant tool sets, in line with SLAs agreed with the brands and Payments teams,Assist in DevOps function and facilitate / advocate the evolution of this function in collaboration with development partners as well as Coles' technology strategy (i.e. Git, AWS, etc.)Responsible for all management/operational aspects of the Coles Payments Platforms, Applications and Services for non-production and aspects of production environments,Responsible for developing and monitoring security/privacy policy across Payments Technology; including committee, audit and regulatory requirements (where necessary).Working with a team to manage of all non-production environment health checks, system monitoring, reporting, performance and system audits,Management of non-production batch files aligned with production batches and payments test team needs,Assist with the maintenance of the production seed data and ensuring non-production/production configuration detail is documented and up to date.The senior technical analyst role will also need to be familiar with and have an understanding of the Test lifecycles, including Test Automation.Work Experience Required:Strong background in operations technical team , problem solving, and excellent communication skillsExtensive knowledge of Information and Data management, including data security and privacy policiesUnderstanding of the theory and practice behind PCI-DSS, PII Security, ISO90001 and other related certificationsExtended experience with Engineering and DevOps practices, including:Source Code management,Continuous integration, andPostillion and FIS (Data Navigator and IST) experience a mustStrong knowledge of Inner workings of Data navigator and ISTExperience managing and coaching team members to successUnderstanding of EFT, Payments and Postillion Platforms are strongly desiredWe expect the candidate will have previous experience as a senior technical analyst, and at least five years' experience as a technical analyst.Commercial Skills and Qualifications:Qualifications aren't mandatory, and experience will be preferred, however candidates with degrees / diplomas / certificates related to appropriate technical disciplines will be additionally favoured.Proven experience as a senior technical analyst with payments and in particular FIS suite of applications and a good understanding of postilion are greatly favoured.If you have the right experience please apply.PLEASE NOTE: You will require full Australian working rights as sponsorship is not provided.
