My international Edinburgh based client are recruiting for a proven Service Desk Team Lead to join their team of 4 on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join an established team.What will the role involve?Leading the team you will be responsible for providing first line support to the group throughout Europe as well as carrying out a variety of projects led by the Head of IT.The candidate will ensure work queues are efficiently managed and prioritised through their coordination of technical support agents. Moreover, the candidate will be expected to lead training and manage knowledge gaps within their team. IT management will expect this candidate to be able to provide them with valuable recommendations in regards to quality improvement areas.What experience do I need?Experience of a Microsoft environmentExperience supporting Linux, Macs and SolarisProven communication skills with an innate ability to foster an environment of supportEffective planning and organisation skillsStrong self-motivation and drive to create a thriving teamMicrosoft Office, Windows 7 & 10, and AD account management experience What will I get in return?My client are offering a very competitive salary in conjunction with the opportunity of international travel to sites in the US, South Africa, Russia and across Europe.
