Azure Software Engineer / £50,000 - £55,000 / MSP / 5 hours dedicated training per week / Bonus paid quarterly Hello technology enthusiasts! My Hertfordshire based client who carry Gold Partner status delivery software solutions into hundreds of customers across a tonne of markets and Due to 15 years in the business they have a catalogue of clients that they have been working with for many years, however with new ones coming on board all the time they need to make sure they have the workforce in place who can deliver. This is why they have reached out once again and given me the task of finding their next Lead Azure Developer.So what are they doing and why hire now? They want to hire now as they are launching 2 new major products. One is a new property management product and another being one of their own in house platforms. The benefit here being you will work in a fully cloud orientated environment which inevitably is the way the world is going and you can also say that you have lead such projects inevitably adding a mass of value to your own position within the market. What does the team, your role and working environment look like?To be completely transparent this is a fairly small development team of 5 so there is no hiding behind anyone else's work here. You need to know your trade and be able to bring you're "A-Game" to the table. This benefits you as it means your voice is certainly heard and not lost in a larger team. The role is 100% hand on.To keep their reputation on a pedestal evaluation of technology is key so you will work collaboratively with your CTO and Technical Lead to ensure that you don't fall behind the competition.Your leaders are there to learn from and can be used as a tool to refine your niche. That said it's not the only way you can learn - specific funding will be yours for the taking and 5 hours of your working week id dedicated solely for learning and development.The working environment is chilled out as they understand the clogs don't turn well in a highly strung environment when you have someone luring over your shoulder. They let you do your thing and there is no room for micromanagement. The fridge is fully stocked and literally you can put an order in for the week and they will cover your breakfasts and lunches - meaning it's one less thing you need to pay for and put yourself out with.Your day to day will see you coding in the backend technologies using .NET core and really utilising Azure Microservices. They are using this architecture style to enable them to bring new functionalities to market faster. Better performance means better product so this will be at the heart of what you do. Azure tools such as Service Fabric / Azure Service Bus / Azure SQL will be used.The important tech tools ?A solid 5 years plus in Backend Development experience using the Microsoft technologies and in particular development of commercial products, and therefore the ability to articulate specific challenges of products vs bespoke development..NET core / Service Fabric / Azure Service Bus / Azure SQL / Microservices / TDD / DDD / Git What do you get in return?
