One of our busiest Financial Services clients is looking for an Azure specialist to join their expanding Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for supporting the operational running of the business' infrastructure, with a focus on the cloud infrastructure, and protecting service operations through change control and governance.
This position can be based from either the Stoke-on-Trent or Manchester office, and travel between the sites will be required from this position.
Azure specialist duties will include, but not limited to:
*Providing 3rd line support to the Azure infrastructure across the business
*Working on projects and BAU
*Ensuring all requests, incidents, problems and changes are completed to a high standard and within agreed SLA's
*Identifying and delivering continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging tooling and automation to improve the efficiency and service to the business
*Working with other teams to support any cloud based project work
*Managing any incidents following ITIL framework
*Working alongside the Head of Infrastructure to set up a centre of excellence
As the Azure specialist, you will be required to possess:
*Strong Azure experience
*Previous experience working within a 3rd line position supporting cloud/azure environment
*Experience working within an Agile environment
*Previous experience working within an Infrastructure as code environment
*Excellent stakeholder management
*Previous experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Sitefinity would be beneficial
*Any experience with VMware, Active Directory, SCCM, NetApp, SAN and/or AWS would be desirable, but is not essential
