Major UK organisation are recruiting for a Lead Data Systems Analyst to lead a team of Systems Analysts to identify and document the systems requirements for the development of Management Information Systems. The role holder will engage with end users and the MI development team to document the solution requirements, ensuring quality and consistency to the outputs. Client DetailsLeading UK OrganisationDescriptionMajor UK organisation are recruiting for a Lead Data Systems Analyst to lead a team of Systems Analysts to identify and document the systems requirements for the development of Management Information Systems. The role holder will engage with end users and the MI development team to document the solution requirements, ensuring quality and consistency to the outputs.Key Responsibilities Ensure all analysis documents that are produced are to the required standard and ensure the Data Catalogue is kept current Plan the workload of the team and delivery of work packages going to systems developers, in conjunction with the MI Systems Delivery Lead.Negotiate and agree team priorities in conjunction with the Portfolio Manager, Project Managers and other key stakeholders.Ensure the analyst team produce high quality system analysis documents that are fit for use by the development teams and meet the original user requirements. Work with the Data Architect to ensure solutions are aligned to the organisations Data Architecture. Contribute to the Information Strategy. Assess and triage live defects in the data warehouse. Skills & Attributes Ideally have a minimum of 4-5 years' experience undertaking Systems Analysis within a SQL database-oriented development environment. Be able to demonstrate strong people managements skills within a similar environment. Ideally have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a project-oriented environment across the whole project lifecycle. Strong communication skills Knowledge and experience of the Financial Services sector. Preferably hold a Computer Science or IT-related degree. Preferably hold a professional qualification in Systems Analysis. A working knowledge of UFSS, and STAR or DAS, would be an advantage.
