The Analytics and Insight team has a global reach and is an integral part of the client's analytics and finance communities. They deliver the data and analytics to support the analysis of commercial performance across the group. Stakeholders include the exec, category product teams, group finance, group commercial and markets. Key Accountabilities As a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst you are responsible for the delivery of insight and analytics projects from conception through to release. You will own a portfolio of work and will be responsible for delivering parts of the global roadmap. You may have line management responsibilities or will support and coach more junior members of the team. Working with stakeholders, you are able to understand the requirement, plan accordingly, manage work in tools like JIRA and deliver visualisations and data models which will enable data-driven decision making. Gather analytics requirements, design and document efficient solutions and work with our data services team on the delivery of data products as part of a wider data strategy. Use any of SQL, GCP, Tableau and other analytics tools (Power BI / Qlik or similiar) to produce strategy driving analytics. Create Tableau content that is innovative, performant, delivers insight and embraces best practice. Integrate and consolidate data sources, internal and external, ready for statistical analysis. Champion the use of data and analytics, driving adoption and growth in the user base. Collaborate with other analytics teams to ensure global alignment across initiatives. Ensure maintenance of functional and technical documentation. Lead, mentor and develop junior members of the team. Key Skills:Strong requirements management and delivery of work using tools like JIRA.Extensive experience with Tableau or comparable data visualisation tool e.g Power BI / Qlik Strong SQL skills.Comfortable working with a range of data platforms including SQL Server, Google BigQuery, SAP BW, SAP HANA. Experience working in an agile environment and leading others to do so. Comfortable sourcing, integrating and cleansing data. Good commercial awareness. Ideally knowledge of financial data. Ability to work with data engineers to develop our enterprise data warehouse. Organised, delivery focused and comfortable working on own initiative. Desirable Skills:Interest in using R and/or Python to deliver advanced analytics, or a commitment to developing skills in this area.Exposure to key data science principles such as optimisation, predictive modelling, clustering and forecasting. Any hands-on experience delivering solutions like marketing campaign analysis, ROI assessments, sales and financial forecasts, customer segmentation and other predictive financial analytics.
