Therefore, if you live in a commutable distance of Warrington, Cheshire, Manchester, Burnley, Lancaster, Stoke-on-Trent or surrounding areas - then this role will be easily accessible for you!The existing team of technical experts will help you build on your pre-existing knowledge of:* Ensure availability and integrity of Crown Commercial Service managed AWS and Microsoft Azure environments through proactive monitoring, and carry out remedial action as required or escalating to senior staff.

* Configure, maintain and monitor all IaaS resources within AWS environments.

* Collaborate with team members, delivery partners and service providers on delivery milestones to ensure smooth implementation of new and enhanced services.

* Assist in the evaluation, selection and implementation of new services, and the potential migration of existing internally hosted servers, to external cloud hosting and support where there is a business benefit.

* Assist in the reviews of BCP / DR and Backup Plans and suggest changes or make amendments where necessitated by changes to the IT Infrastructure

* Keep abreast of Cloud technologies in the IaaS, PaaS and SaaS arenas.

* Assist in the evaluation of existing network infrastructure, making recommendations for improvements, and participate in any Infrastructure Review project that may ariseIt would be advantageous if you've had exposure to:

* AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or equivalent demonstrable practical experience

* Experience with Terraform and Cloud Formation or equivalents

* 1+ years experience in building and managing AWS environments (including ECS, EC2, VPC, Postgres, ELB, S3 bucket services)

* Demonstrable knowledge of web application security and distributed applications

* Experience designing, developing and supporting AWS-based solutions in a production environment

* Effective and positive contribution as part of a multidisciplinary team.As you would expect, you would be compensated well with a salary between £35,000 - £40,000
