A career in our Tax Technology Innovation practice, within Innovation services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients’ tax departments redesign, redefine, and redeploy tax to be a strategic asset across the enterprise. You’ll focus on assisting clients incorporate increased automation in the tax reporting process, increase analytic capabilities through data integration, and create solid internal controls that will enable the Tax function to deliver better quality output and contribute more strategically to organisational decision making.

Our team develops complex software capabilities leveraging the latest in technology to meet today’s hard business problems. You’ll focus on providing highly customisable platforms across the tax practice through research, development, and integration to build adaptable enterprise capabilities. It’s our mission to identify, apply and drive innovation through the application of ground-breaking and unique technologies to set PwC apart from the competition.About the roleThe job sits within the Commercial Tax Technology team and involves looking at the application of leading data and analytics tools (e.g. Alteryx/Tableau/Power BI) to the tax practice. The team is relatively small, but high profile and growing. You will have an opportunity to make a real difference working in one of the firm’s priority growth areas.The role is varied and involves developing a variety of new digital products in the data and analytics space. It is very commercial and will give you a great oversight of the UK tax practice. You will learn how to manipulate, critically analyse and graphically present data to PwC teams and clients. There is an option to gain certifications with these new software packages that will be transferable in most data settings. This is a high profile role, working with senior stakeholders and offering good opportunities for career progression.Who we are looking forWe are looking a positive, driven, problem solver to join the team.
