£80k-£90kOne of London's leading insuretech companies are looking to add a passionate Lead Python Engineer to their team. In this position you will be granted the opportunity to work on cutting end technologies with the overall goal of changing how the insurance industry sees data.You will be joining a small team integral to the growth of the company where your voice is heard and your work has a genuine impact on the company as a whole. Having recently raised their series a round of funding, this position is prime for somebody who is eager to see the impact of their work at an organisation wide level.As this organisation grow, they are looking to build their team out with more Senior professionals, such as yourself, that bring a wealth of coding experience along with a business brain to help move this 30 strong start-up to the next stage.Experience which will help you succeed in this position:Experience with AWS infrastructure toolsAttention to detail with commitment to best coding practicesAny experience with Scrapy / Django would be seen as an advantageSkills needed for the position:Strong Python experienceAWS - (serverless - Lambda, step functions, spot fleet, templates)APIs (GraphQL, API Gateway, Hasura)Data management (Postgres, Redis, S3) with some exposure to real-time data (ideally Kafka)As well as the opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies in a fun, fast-paced environment, this opportunity will give you flexible working, potential share options and a chance to progress your career to the next stage.
