Our client, a leading betting and gaming company require an experienced Sofware and Lead Software Engineer with experience of PHP, Node, Java, ReactJS for an initial 3 month contract based in Sheffield.Our teams build and maintain a series of web applications built on a mix of virtualised and cloud platforms. Our teams have a mixture of front-end and back-end skillsets; we value attitude and potential to learn and grow rather than possessing a particular technology. We use React/JS, Node/JS, Typescript, Kotlin, Java 8 and PHP; we use Docker & Kubernetes, we also do quite a bit of Kafka, Chef, Graphite, Prometheus, Akka, Redis, MySQL and a range of AWS services. The exact tech stack will depend on which squad you work on and we regularly update our stack based on what suits the job best.Required technical skills:PHPNodeJavaReactJSSuitable candidates should submit thier CV in the first instance.
