As an approved recruitment partner of several years to this international banking group we have been asked to assist in the hire of a Project Manager (Middle Office) with extensive Investment Banking experience / software development project experience.

We view this bank as one of the better places to work in the city. The culture here is very respectful and a contrast to some city institutions.

Purpose of the role:

This role requires management of projects, reporting to the Programme Manager. The projects will sit within the systems office for EMEA, and is based in the London headquarters.

The Project Manager drives key technology projects within the programme, ensuring that the bank delivers new and enhanced functionality to enable growth and minimise risk.

Skills & Experience:

Functional / Technical Competencies:

*Ability to work to tight deadlines.

*Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

*Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

*Ability to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.

*Ability to work on own without direction.

*Ability to make sense of complex situations and rapidly prioritise issues to take effective decisions.

Work Experience:

*Project delivery experience across multiple geographies and diverse cultures.

*Experience in managing projects with internal and external interdependencies.

*Experience in one or more of the bank's key technologies.

*Smooth handover of projects to operational delivery, preferably in an ITIL based environment.

*Management of external vendors and consultants.

*Financial Services experience, especially within non retail banking.

*Software Development project experience - Agile / DevOps

*Middle Office (MO) experience

Education / Qualifications:

*Current Prince II Practitioner (or equivalent)
