An Oracle Platinum and Microsoft Gold Partner are seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA to join their growing team in Central London.They specialise in Microsoft and Cloud technologies, and are the UK's leading Managed Services Provider in these fields. The role: The role is an interesting mix of support and consultancy work - you will largely be based in their London office, where you will spend the majority of your time working on Managed Services Support work, with general tasks including:Maintaining support for Managed Clients, responding to tickets and support functionsAssisting with third level support issues as and when required via the Service DeskAssist with covering in hours support as neededOn Call Support: you will be on-call 1 week out of every 4When not in office, you will occasionally visit client-site to provide Consultancy and Pre-sales services, which will likely take around 20% of your time. This will involve:Working closely with customers and key stakeholders to define and deliver solutionsLiaising with management to resolve sensitive account issues and manage customer incidents if/when necessaryWorking with sales teams to get involved in pre-salesThroughout this, you will have the opportunity to attend Microsoft Partner events, and will be well-supported towards achieving your Microsoft Certifications.Key skills:Strong experience as a SQL Server DBAStrong ETL experienceStrong communication skillsExperience with Azure and/or AWSBenefits: Salary of up to £60,00025 days holiday + 5 days carry-overSupport towards Microsoft CertificationsInterviews are taking place shortly, so if this exciting opportunity appeals to you, please apply ASAP for your application to be considered.
