Linux Infrastructure Tester6 MonthsBasingstoke A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be consideredOur client is a multinational technology consultancy, they are looking for an Infrastructure Tester to be based on site with one of their end clients. Role Tester will support the programme team to provide test and assurance of the delivered equipment and capabilities. The Tester will be an experienced Tester with experience and knowledge in particular aspects Infrastructure and Linux and Windows. The Tester will be responsible for providing support to activities including but not limited to:Identifying Test & Acceptance criteria from Engineering design documentation (LLDs etc) for Linux builds.Developing New/Modified Test Scripts for Linux buildsUndertaking formal & informal testing in support of the Test PlanCo-ordinating the collection of Test DataSupporting the production of the test strategy and acceptance plan in line with the programme test approachAssisting with running walkthroughs with Authority SMEs to ensure requirements are understoodSupporting production of Test Plans and Test SpecificationsReporting on test progress, defects and issues to the team, project team and key stakeholdersRunning integration test phase, maintaining a close working relationship with team for test acceptance and artefact assurance Key Performance IndicatorsProduces accurate test cases that address clearly defined requirements.Produces test cases with an appropriate level of technical detail for the target audience responsible for test execution.Good familiarity with testing tools.Uses risk to identify where more or less testing is required based on testing outcomes.Produces clear and unambiguous test plans that address project requirements and risks and contribute to test strategy.Effectively communicates the testing strategy and plans throughout the project & customer teams.Successfully delivers all testing activities in the test plans within forecast and timescale constraints.Suitable candidates should submit their CV in the first instance
