Birmingham2 Data Analysts are required by our Global Financial Services client based in Birmingham on an initial 6 month basis.

The role will provide forward looking analytics based insights to support the project objectives to control products effectively. You will be working alongside project and business stakeholders to investigate data and analytics across all in-scope product lines to produce useable metric dashboards using bank recommended platforms (QlikSense).

Discovery Phase: You will be responsible for communicating with multiple teams to investigate various data sources for each in-scope product, specifically associated fees and charges, as to how the data is stored and how it can be leveraged.

Build Phase: Once data structure is clear (and documented), you will assist in defining processes including data to support KPIs/KRIs to new (product) dashboards for the product managers.

This will be achieved by:

· Review existing data sources and understand structure and feeds.

· Investigating available data sources for each in-scope product relating to fees and charges

· Applying analytical skills to investigate/extract information from data sources and translating it into insightful business metrics (KPIs/KRIs) via Product dashboard;Qualifications

· Programming skills of SAS/ SQL are mandatory for this role.

· Strong Analytical Reasoning;

· Preferable to have experience in VBA and/or visualisation tools like Qlik.

· Highly developed analytical skills to extract information from data and translate it into business metrics;

· Have directly relevant experience of working in an analytical role within financial services; At the first instance, please submit your CV
