Test Engineer Role - Manchester

Location - Manchester

Day Rate - £400

Duration - 3 Months +

IR35 - INSIDE (Must use an umbrella company)

A Public sector client of ours has an immediate requirement for an interim test Engineer to work on one of their projects for initially 3 months. They are looking for an individual with the following skills:

*Superb communication skills.

*Knowledge of Moodle/VLEs (desirable)

*The ability to hit the ground running, understand requirements and their significance to the business

*The creation and execution of test scripts

*Working in an agile environment

*Developing and Managing the User acceptance testing process

*Coordinate Users during testing cycles

*Work with business users and coach them in the UAT process.

*Liaise with developers to report defects in ticketing system and test fixes

*Use of ticketing systems e.g. Pivotal Tracker for managing tickets

*Conduction FMEA - Failure mode effect analysis - ability to look at the impact of a change affecting something else.

Knowledge of a range of software and technologies such as:

*Business Intelligence

*Student & Curriculum Systems

*CRM Systems

*VLE / Technology-Enhanced Learning Systems

*Research Systems

*Integration & Web Services

*Web Application Development
