Solutions Architect Role - London

Max Rate - £550

Location - London

Duration - 1 Month Initially

IR35 - Outside

We require a Solution Architect for a short assignment to develop a business case with at least 3 possible options and a preferred solution to replace a finance/operation application which has been developed in house several years ago using Microsoft Access. All proposed options must be costed.

To perform this task, we require a solution architect with strong business, technical, software and operational analytical skills. Knowledge of cash allocation / bank reconciliation issues is a strong advantage.

He/she will have to understand all parts of the application and how they fit together including processes and systems.

The application to be replaced has several stakeholders and the aim is to ensure that all their requirements, functional and non-functional, are taken into account.

A vital part of creating the business case will be to select the most appropriate technology is where priority should be given to buy off-the-shelf over in-house software development.

The solution architect's job will have to focus on solution-level options and analysis of their impact on the overall business goals and outcomes.

Technical background and experience

must have a technical background with at least 5 years of work experience in one or more IT areas including but not limited to:

*IT architecture, infrastructure, and cloud development

*Engineering and software architecture design

*Business analysis

*DevOps

Project and product management

*Good communication skills

*Deep analytical skills

*Project and resource management skills

*Proficient in preparing Business Cases (good knowledge of '5 Case Model' is a clear advantage)
