They manufacture and supply Wiring Systems to the Automotive market across the world, working with all the major blue chip car manufactures.This position would a Global Supply Chain Manager from an engineering/manufacturing background with good import / export knowledge.The Role

*Provide expert strategic advice to company, manufacturing site, suppliers and subsidiaries on tariff classification, Country of Origin, Preferential Trade Agreements and all compliance matters relating to customs processes, laws and regulations in each country.

*Develop supply chain strategies and advice manufacturing techniques to maximise benefits of free trade.

*Be the focal point with custom authorities, lead the company responses to queries and audits, ensuring that the most cost effective and compliant solutions are identified

*Monitor import and export legislations

*Set Import / Export instructions to customs agentsThe Person

*Global Supply chain experience

*Import/Export knowledge (trade compliance and customs experience)
