Experienced C# .NET developer with Front Office / eTrading

Experience is required with Strong development skills and experience with .Net, Oracle SQL.  Experience developing web front-end in HTM5 / Javascript / Typescript and frameworks (eg. Angular) a plus. You must have a track record of successful design and implementation of scalable and performant REST based web services as well as web socket based services on a .Net stack. Strong knowledge of IIS and Windows Server (configuration). Expert knowledge in one or more of the following ORMs: Dapper (ideally) nHibernate, Entity Framework. About 10 years software development experience recently in an investment bank environment or equivalent. Strong interest in continuous improvement and all aspects of software development and delivery. Comfortable working in an Agile environment. Strong understanding of test driven development and continuous integration practices. Team City configuration and build automation experience a plus. Good communication skills, both orally and in writing. Comfortable interacting with front office users. Good analytical skills; able to understand, formalise and explain complex problems. Confident numeracy and solid academic background in engineering, sciences or economics.

Role:

we are looking for a senior .Net C# developer who has strong experience building commercial web applications for business users. The ideal candidate would also have front end development experience using Typescript, HTML and Javascript.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of the new in house Web based application and have the opportunity to make a positive and meaningful impact on the business as well as contribute to the success of the application and the team.

Experience of etrading, Front office and knowledge of Fixed Income business would be beneficial but not required. The candidate should have strong knowledge of threading, system performance optimisation and building scalable windows services.
